No lie, ever since I saw this Pringle of Scotland Yves Klein blue 'mac'on ELLE UK's Istagram, it's haunted my thoughts since
That asymmetrical layered storm flap at the right, the concealed placket, the raised seaming and the buckle tab cropped cuffs are all giving me mod madness and this lil' number is crying for puddle jumpin', which might occur from time to time in old UK.
The matchy-matchy accessory trend, however, needs to END!

It's 60 Degrees Out Today and Yet...
My mind lingers on this Pringle of Scotland sweater Alistair Carr showed earlier at London Fashion Week
Man, I'd really give that jagged chevron a what for, if it were cold out!

The Best of London Fashion Week
So London Fashion Week closes and editors head to Italy. Let's take a look at my pics of the best from a week of wacky
(Peter Jensen's color blocking)
(Paul Smith's ox blood skirt)
(This yellow blouse from Roksanda Ilincic was the most dramatic but chic)
(You know I had to throw in an Elizabeth Taylor piece. Thanks to Topshop Unique for slapping that B's mug on an over-sized sweatshirt. NEED!)
(Speaking of sweatshirts, this wild print from Mary Katrantzou is also on my Spring 2012 wish list. Imagine with dark denim and white Adidas. My outfit for the first day of Spring)
(Giles Deacon's ice goddess cocktail dress will literally light up the room)
(Danielle Scutt gets how I dress)
(Alistair Carr's first collection for venerated Pringle of Scotland used a lot of great 70's graphic prints. Bring on the "Logan's Run" remake!)
And finally LFW can't be summed up without including some sharp coats from Burberry Prorsum. Who needs a coat in Spring/Summer, I'll never know, but if you're the type chilly in 75 degree heat, might I suggest
See you in Milan!

Right Now I'm Feeling: David Shrigley
Ok two confessions right up front:
1. The catalyst for this post is an item I'm selling on Ebay, so this is a bit of a plug
2. However, thanks to this Pringle of Scotland colab t-shirt, I discovered an artist I've secretly loved for awhile and never looked into
David Shrigley is a British visual artist whose work I'm most familiar with is a series of (presumably) stream of consciousness verse
While Shrigley's claim to fame is definitely his free flowing thoughts in scribble form, he's also had many successes in other medium including:
As a video director
He's recorded several spoken word albums
And is an installation and sculptural artist
My favorite thing he does, however, is the cards. There's of course, all year stationary, but this X-mas I'm sending these treasures out
You've been warned!

I'm sure you've seen his work all over as houseware and fashion designers have utilized his art in their designs
(Salt and pepper shakers, £70 at Polite, http://site.politecards.com/collections/shrigley/products/salt-and-pepper-shakers-by-david-shrigley)
