Rihanna Should "Stay" in Tom Ford According to the Designer

“OK, that’s Rihanna, and she’s going to her lawyer’s office in that all-black outfit and she’s hungover and that’s why she’s wearing those glasses. Yet she’s still a rock star,” Tom Ford explained to WWD

And while I cannot authenticate Rihanna was indeed hungover here, I love that the above quote in April 2013 was spot on. Rihanna would wear a sparkly, sequined zebra print gown with monkey fur standing collar on the every day

And she's worn other wack-a-doo getups from the mixed reviewed recent Ford collections

More black and white

More cuckoo footwear (Forrest Gump wore them first)

But me thinks Rihanna might be "The Only Girl in the World" who can pull these looks off

Comeback Week: Kelly Rowland

This month has seen a lot of It Can't All Be Dior favorites making major comebacks and we're gonna feature them this week for doin' they dooz.

First up is my girl, Kelly Rowland. Remember that moment during Beyonce's Super Bowl performance when Kelly shot up from the floor looking like sex in a sleek banged wig?

Well girlfriend really capitalized on that moment this year with a sassy string of singles that lead up to the release of her fourth solo album, "Talk A Good Game"

And Ms. Kelly know her audience, honey.

This record is filled with R&B summer jams and slow baby makers

"Cause if you give me your love
Then I give you mines back
If you get to acting up
I cut you off like that"

there's shots of euro dancey numbers for the gays

"Everybody's

Somebody's

Freak"

and even a Beyonce and Michelle colab for her pop starved fans (who affectionately call themselves "Rowland Stones")

I can say I'm done in a million ways

But let's not beat around the bush

                                                     Let's cut to the chase

You changed, I changed but it's too late

"Talk A Good Game" is a nice grab bag of jams slow and fun, and while at 15 tracks it could have benefited from an edit, I appreciate how much effort Rowland put into this album. I'm not sure there's another crossover like 'Motivation' on here, but it will certainly please her fans and to that I say: Keep on Rowland on!

Where are you Róisín Murphy? We Need You!

Two weeks ago I saw a drag queen in a turban perform to 'Royal T" by Italian house DJ Crookers featuring Róisín Murphy and I had a thought: what happened to that B???  I LOVED her!

This above colab with the sexy video appears to be Rosin's latest output. Sadly this was released in autumn of last year and her last full album, Overpowered, which was brilliant, came out in 2007

("Just gonna pop out for some milk right quick")

My beloved Irish chanteuse with the wicked style and sly delivery, where have you ran off to? I heard you're having babies, but why not give us more of that sharp Euro trash disco sing-alongs? it is Summer, afterall and this boy has even started "working out" (ie: situps and squats at home. Don't get carried away) and could use some energizing jams.

Róisín, rush back to us!

Joan Collins Tweets about her Namesake Cocktail

(How could this not be of relation to a Tom Collins, I ask you???)

Glamourpuss Joan Collins tweeted this namesake cocktail from the London Book Fair (dear, I HOPE that's a fair for authors and author's sisters to mingle at and not a new gig selling books to British school children)

Just like Ms. Collins, it's full of effervescence and tang.

But £9?! Jiminy, that's $14!

Even Alexis Carrington finds that a bit steep for a bunch of ginger ale, honey.

The Oscars in One Word: Dame Shirley Bassey

And that's all I gotta say about that. Love this B!

THIS

Ms. Kelly Rowland, when you and your blunt bangs popped up from under stage

and then you threw that toned arm on that perfect hip... child!

I gay gasped!

Everything.
