Shadow Lover "Lovers of Lust Lovers of Lies"

Every time Shadow Lover performs "Lovers of Lust Lovers of Lies" crowds get caught up in "the fever". The thumpin' beat and gyrating, deadpan sexy electronic backing vocals ensnare you in a sexy seduction like that of a stranger in a dark dive bar while Ava Omega Jarden croons about a smoke and mirrors romance with a lover that looks like an angel but gives kisses of hate and kisses of pain. This sonic journey has now become a video shot in Centralia, Pennsylvania, an industrial turned ghost town with coal fires still burning under cracked cement

Last Nite's Party: Why You Sultan in the Corner?

At W.I.P. (Work in Progress)  rumours swirled that the Prince of a certain oil controlling state was in the crowd

Whoever made up the audience, they were treated to a titillating performance from Shadow Lover including the dance art of my boyfriend and the incomparable Lola Immaculata

Never did meet no royalty....

Last Nite's Party: Shadow Lover at Splatterpool

Friday evening Mr. Taurus joined New York electro artist Ava Jarden (aka Shadow Lover) for an evening of dancing, singing and short films at Splatterpool art space in Williamsburg

There was a lot of hipsters on parade and I spied some guy in this little balmy swamp of a concrete space (It had just rained. Again.) in a sweater and bicycle leggings

(Oh and high orthopedic socks over the bicycle leggings. Of course.)

But back to Shadow Lover. I've seen them twice now and the songs are already creeping into my subconscious

Plus anything with clapping is my ish!

Mr Taurus did his thang last nite dancing for Shadow Lover at the Grace Hotel utilizing the pool in a dramatic baptism

The music was great and the dancing accented it without taking away. The whole performance had the audience bopping and shouting. Success!
